Business Development Manager (Software Solutions)
Our client, a Microsoft Partner has an opportunity for a Hunter to join the team where you will be responsible for sourcing new SME and Enterprise Clients. The role will predominantly look after the South Africa Region, with the possibility of tapping into the UK market as well. Dealing with Executive-level decision makers will come naturally to you whilst building relationships and influencing opportunities. The role requires strong market presence, credibility with senior stakeholders and proven success of deals and solution sales achieved. RESPONSIBILITIES The New Business Specialist is responsible for originating new business opportunities by opening doors into target organisations and securing early access to senior decision – makers. This is a new business (hunter) role focused on lead & deal generation, new logo acquisition, early stage opportunity origination, and market entry within defined target industries and accounts. Building and managing partner relationships. Engage confidently with Senior and C-suite Technology Leaders. Present high-level solutions narratives with specialists where required. Collaborate with Pre-Sales and delivery teams for early feasibility and value alignment. Own deal progression, expansion and win strategy. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5-10+ years in B2B / New Business / Hunter Software Sales Environment. Consulting and managed services sales models Exposure to Microsoft Cloud Ecosystems (M365, Azure, Security, Identity, Data/AI) will be ideal Proven success in acquiring new business within the enterprise or upper midmarket accounts Experience in selling Software Solutions, Technology, Cloud managed services or consulting led solutions (Indicating clear targets and achievements and size of deals).
