Technology Domain Specialist - Middleware Engineer

Responsibilities
- This role requires a unique blend of expertise in Java development, enterprise IBM platforms, modern APIs, and CI/CD automation.
- You will be the technical anchor for designing, developing, and maintaining critical middleware solutions.
- Development & APIs: Design and develop integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and managing APIs via REST and SOAP protocols.
- Platform Administration: Configure and administer enterprise platforms including IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Liberty Profile (WLP) in Linux/Unix environments.
- Integration: Collaborate on integrating services with specialized IBM components like DataPower, APIConnect, and Business Automation Workflow (BAW).
- DevOps & Containerization: Utilize Docker for containerization, and leverage Azure DevOps to manage and automate our CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimization: Ensure the high availability and performance of applications, including managing and optimizing SQL Server databases.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in middleware development and administration.
- Core Java proficiency, including experience with Spring Boot.
- Expertise in API protocols: JSON, SOAP, and REST.
- Hands-on experience with IBM WAS and WLP.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with IBM integration tools: DataPower, APIConnect, and BAW.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database management.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
- Proven experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for documentation and project tracking
