Job Details

The role is for a senior VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5.2) architect/consultant responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing VMware-based cloud environments for large enterprises. The candidate will provide strategic guidance, lead technical architecture, and deliver hands-on solutions while mentoring junior staff and supporting pre-sales activities.



Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, deployment, and optimization of VCF 5.2 solutions.

Act as a subject matter expert on VMware cloud infrastructure, automation, and security.

Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into VMware solutions.

Oversee technical architecture across compute, storage, network, and automation layers.

Implement VMware technologies including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.

Mentor junior consultants and architects on best practices.

Deliver technical workshops, presentations, and strategic guidance.

Support project delivery, risk management, and pre-sales activities.



Key Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience with VCF 5.2 in large-scale enterprise and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Deep knowledge of VMware technologies: vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize Suite, vRA, vRO.

Ability to design complex compute, storage, and network solutions aligned with business needs.

Strong leadership, project management, client engagement, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Preferred Qualifications:

VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCDX) focused on VCF or cloud architecture.

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).

Expertise in cloud migration, modernization, and cloud-native transformations.
