About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, confident, and experienced Scrum Master strongo join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Agile professional who is passionate about fostering high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional business value.

As the Scrum Master, you will champion Agile principles and Scrum practices, serving as a facilitator, coach, and servant leader for one or more cross-functional teams. You will empower teams to work collaboratively, remove impediments, and deliver high-quality products through iterative development while cultivating a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.

The ideal candidate is an assertive communicator, an influential leader, and an advocate for Agile ways of working who can confidently engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Leadership

  • Champion Agile values, principles, and Scrum best practices across delivery teams.
  • Act as a servant leader, enabling teams to become self-organising, collaborative, and high-performing.
  • Foster an environment of trust, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Scrum Facilitation

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Stand-ups
    • Sprint Reviews
    • Sprint Retrospectives
    • Backlog Refinement
  • Ensure Scrum events are productive, focused, and outcome-driven.
  • Coach teams on Agile frameworks, roles, and responsibilities.

Team Coaching & Development

  • Mentor Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies.
  • Support teams in improving delivery predictability, quality, and velocity.
  • Encourage continuous learning and the adoption of Agile best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team dynamics and collaboration.

Delivery Support

  • Remove blockers and impediments impacting team productivity.
  • Monitor sprint progress and proactively address delivery risks.
  • Ensure work is appropriately planned, prioritised, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Promote transparency through effective reporting and Agile metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain healthy and prioritised product backlogs.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between delivery teams and organisational goals.
  • Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication across multiple teams where required.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive Agile maturity across teams and the wider organisation.
  • Use Agile metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support Agile transformation initiatives and organisational change.
  • Encourage experimentation and process optimisation.

Minimum Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
    • Information Technology
    • Computer Science
    • Business Information Systems
    • Engineering
    • Project Management
    • or a related discipline

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software delivery environments.
  • Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams delivering complex technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.

  • SAFe Agilist (SA)
  • Agile Coach experience
  • Experience working in DevOps or CI/CD environments
  • Experience in Agile transformation initiatives
