Senior Data Engineer with Power BI
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with strong Power BI skills to join a forward-thinking team focused on delivering high-impact data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern data platforms and advanced BI tools that empower data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports and dashboards with clean semantic models and efficient DAX calculations.
- Build and operationalize data pipelines and transformation workflows on cutting-edge cloud-based platforms.
- Manage large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and storage using modern data engineering tools.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable, governed data solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices around data quality, performance, and governance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering roles with a strong focus on BI tools.
- Expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Hands-on experience building cloud data platforms, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem (Fabric, Azure).
- Proficient in SQL with experience in complex data transformations and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Spark or PySpark for scalable data processing is a plus.
- Experience with ingestion from diverse sources including APIs, relational databases, and streaming data.
