Senior Software Quality Engineer
This is a 6-month contract role where the Senior SQE will lead QA initiatives across multiple projects, mentor junior and intermediate engineers, and drive innovation in testing strategies and automation. The role requires close collaboration with development, business, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead QA frameworks and initiatives within development teams.
• Ensure business and technical requirements are testable.
• Monitor and improve software quality delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineers’ technical skills.
• Innovate in automation, performance, and security testing.
• Engage stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support CI/CD pipeline and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in software testing, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong backend and frontend testing expertise.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Proficient in API/interface, performance (JMeter, LoadRunner), and security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Familiar with DevOps/CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ADO, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
