Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a skilled Linux Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will not only possess strong Linux administration expertise but also demonstrate the ability to design and implement innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. A solid understanding of networking and development is essential. Additionally, automation will be a key focus area, as your contributions will play a significant role in driving the team’s long-term vision and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure.
- Administer cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and others.
- Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
- Deliver work aligned with project timelines and deadlines.
- Design and implement innovative solutions based on business needs.
- Apply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant Linux certifications (e.g., LPI, RHCSA, etc.).
- Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience with Linux systems.
- Proven experience with automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, or similar.
- At least 1 year of scripting and/or programming experience (preferred).
- Exposure to cloud platforms and container technologies is advantageous.
