We’re looking for an experienced Front Arena Principal Engineer to lead the evolution of Front Arena technology assets. You’ll drive architecture, integration, and DevOps initiatives while mentoring developers and shaping technical roadmaps. This role requires deep expertise in Front Arena, strong leadership in development environments, and alignment with enterprise IT strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead development initiatives in Front Arena and provide expert guidance to the development team.
- Apply DevOps principles and practices to streamline deployment and integration.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Front Arena technical architecture and development best practices.
- Design and implement integrations, including telemetry into monitoring tools such as ELK or Dynatrace.
- Conduct architectural and code quality reviews.
- Guide developers in technical problem-solving and career growth.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business goals.
- Create and update detailed technical roadmaps for current and future-state systems.
- Contribute to governance, compliance, and best practice frameworks.
- Lead research and experimentation to test new technologies and concepts.
- Drive continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Support the organisation business strategy by applying agile and innovative thinking.
- Engage in thought leadership, participate in special interest groups, and represent the organisation at conferences.
- Provide strategic input on technology decisions, assessing risks and opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in IT
- Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Lead Developer in a Front Arena development team.
- Front Arena architecture and integration experience.
- Data Warehousing and IT Architecture.
- DevOps practices and monitoring tools (ELK, Dynatrace).
- Code branching, versioning, and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- FIS AEF Certification.
- FIS AIF Certification.
