AI Governance CoE Lead
Senior leadership role responsible for the strategy, roadmap and day-to-day direction of the Centre of Excellence. Acts as the single point of accountability across all governance pillars and the primary interface between the managed-service provider and customer executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the AI governance strategy, roadmap and operating model across AI Platform tools
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Security, Architecture, Risk, Compliance and Human Capital teams
- Chair monthly governance reviews and quarterly business reviews with senior leadership
- Manage escalation, risk and executive reporting
- Oversee team delivery, workload prioritisation and continuous improvement
- Serve as the bridge between technical teams and Executive stakeholders
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 12+ years in IT governance, enterprise architecture or technology consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Demonstrated experience standing up governance frameworks or centres of excellence in large, regulated enterprises (financial services preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, AI platforms and enterprise security constructs (Entra ID, DLP, RBAC)
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
