Our client is an organization that has traded in the petroleum industry for over 50 years. They have an extensive network of service stations across countries in sub-Saharan Africa and ocean Islands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated data mining, data analytics, and modelling solutions to critical business challenges.
- Identify and documents trends and business requirements.
- Develop functional & technical specifications for reports.
- Use data to provide ongoing intelligence to the business stays ahead of the competitors.
- Good governance implementation
- Apply statistical, mathematical, scientific and quantitative analysis to derive data insights
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 8 years’ experience in Data Science Analytics or Statistics
- Experience in Business Analysis & Data Visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView)
- Experience with analytical tools (R, Python, Stata and frameworks (ML algorithms, time series forecasting, scientific sampling techniques
- Experience in dealing with large scale data sets
